Primary and booster fans designed, manufactured and tested in Perth for surface and underground installations. Adjustable blade pitch and a choice of configurations let the fan selection match the duty and installation.
Our largest primary fan. 200 to 400 m³/s, single-stage pressures to 4 kPa.
High pressure primary fan. 100 to 210 m³/s, single-stage pressures to 7.5 kPa.
Versatile, compact primary fan. 100 to 210 m³/s, 500 Pa to 3.4 kPa. Sea container deployable.
Compact primary fan for remote sites. 100 to 210 m³/s, 500 Pa to 3.4 kPa.
Booster fan. 35 to 105 m³/s, up to 4 kPa per stage, single or twin stage.
Clemcorp primary fans move the main airflow of the mine. Our range of high efficiency vane axial fans runs from the CC1800 booster fan to the CC3080, the largest diameter fan we manufacture, with flow rates from 35 m³/s to 400 m³/s and single-stage pressures up to 7.5 kPa. Every fan is designed and manufactured at our Landsdale facility in Perth, Western Australia, and run and tested before it leaves the factory.
Adjustable blade pitch and blade solidity let a single fan case cover a wide range of duties, and a choice of hub sizes tunes each fan to its pressure and volume. Fans are supplied in single or twin stage configurations for horizontal or vertical installation, with fully supported swing-away inspection hatches and nose and diffuser fairings, and fan total efficiency up to 88%. The compact CC2400 and CC2200 can be deployed in a standard sea container for remote sites.
We supply primary fans as complete installations, not just fans. Switchrooms with variable speed drives or soft starters, transition ducting and shaft top bends, self-closing doors, isolation dampers, bulkheads and airlock doors, overhead monorails, and Maestro airflow and pressure monitoring. Our crews install and commission on site, and our Perth workshop overhauls, rebuilds and upgrades existing primary fans, including conversion from horizontal to vertical application.
From two 1,150 kW CC3080/1680 fans at Liontown’s Kathleen Valley to 950 kW CC2650 fans at Sunrise Dam and a 560 kW CC2400 booster fan at Boston Shaker, Clemcorp primary fans are working in Australian gold and lithium mines and in mines around the world.
